Unique: the battery pack concept
Highly efficient motor technology enables the ADVENTURE to travel great distances despite utilizing small batteries. Situated between the rear wheels, either one or two battery packs may be used, depending upon requirements (two battery packs are required to reach maximum speed).
This also means there is added safety in case of low power. If one of the batteries should be defective, the other takes over automatically and brings you home safely. Apart from needing to be charged regularly, the user friendly lead/gel batteries are maintenance-free and leak-proof.
An automatic battery charger is included with the ADVENTURE. It can recharge both fully discharged batteries within eight hours. A charging adapter is also available as an optional accessory enabling the battery packs to be removed from the chair and taken to a convenient location for charging without requiring the large power base.
Handling - Quite Simple!
 The ergonomic control unit is functional and user-friendly. Indoor and outdoor driving parameters are selected at the press of a button. Indoor driving has more finely tuned control responses while outdoor driving performance provides a more nimble and fun experience.
Driving characteristics can be adjusted precisely to the needs of the wheelchair user through the internal programmable controller. Acceleration, tuning speed and joystick sensitivity are three examples of the available twelve programmable options.
The large LCD display is back-lit and provides all significant vehicle status information using easy to understand symbols.
A tray table joystick mount and joystick swivel mount along with other special features are available as optional accessories.
Seating
The ADVENTURE seat unit frame is made completely from aluminum with a lightweight construction that weighs 35 lbs. depending upon how it is equipped. Both the Standard and Function seat options are adjustable, firm and ergonomically shaped. Custom rehab seat system available.
